Human skin usually has about 70-100 active hairs growing per square inch. The laser is only active on hairs that are active in their growing cycle. Hairs alternate in their growing cycles, so at the time of treatment only certain follicles will be active at the time of treatment. For best results consistent treatments, at appropriate intervals are absolutely necessary for the best possibly results. Your skin, Hair Color, coarseness of the hair and density per treated area will all factor the amount of treatments each patient requires. Several treatments are always required, as the process is only effective on hairs during their growing cycle. Additional treatments will be necessary to treat other follicles when they re-enter the growth phase and produce new growth.
